As the Rector of the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Rev. Fr. Nwokedi Ezumezu would likely say, the Basilica CWO zone led by its organizer Lady Ngozi Okonkwo and the Basilica parish president Mrs. Dorothy Ezenwanne, shined their best at the Year of Faith celebration held at the Bethany House, Onitsha on 29th May 2013.

Lectures were delivered to the women by Rev. Fr. Stephen Ifeanyi who spoke on the title, 'Christianity a journey of faith' while Rev. Fr. Kenneth Anona spoke on the topic, 'Relevance of the Year of Faith for the church'.

In his lecture, Rev. Fr. Ifeanyi began by explaining the meaning of Christianity, journey and faith.

According to Fr. Ifeanyi, Christianity involves practicing the life of Christ, journey as an act of traveling and faith as a strong religious belief and a gift from God.

Describing Abraham as the father of faith, the Rev. Fr. Pointed out that faith calls us to be firm, have fundamental decisions and get back to have the good values of life.

He advised Christian women to be tolerant, obedient, humble, generous, kind, faithful and courageous.

In his own contribution Rev. Fr. Kenneth Anona said the year of Faith is a year of thanksgiving, for enjoyment of religious freedom and expansion to reach others.

According to him, it is a year for expansion of  the kingdom of God. He advised mothers to see themselves as umbrella in their various homes to accommodate others.

Moderators on the occasion include Dr. Mrs. Chika Nwachukwu, Mrs. Dorothy Ezenwanne while Lady Angy Chinyelu was the chairperson of the organizing committee as arranged by the Organizer CWO Basilica Zone, Lady Ngozi Okonkwo.

Highlight on the occasion was rosary procession and launching of almanac.
