The  Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, Most Rev. Dr. Chidi Denis Isizoh has enjoined all Christians to practice the act of secret donations and support to humanity. He particularly admonished the wealthy to extend their generosity to the area where basic amenities like hospitals and schools have not been thriving. Speaking at Holy Family parish Umuoji during the 2016 Cathedraticum in Nnobi region on 23rd day of March, Bishop Isizoh advocates that donations which is known only between the donor and God attracts greater blessings than the one that are applauded and commended by all. Bearing in mind the sufferings of children and others in remote places, Bishop Isizoh emphasizes on the need to establish schools, hospitals and other necessary amenities to the remote places so that occupants of those areas will always be updated education wise in order to keep pace with others in the happenings around the globe.

The prelate further explained that, it does not mean that other donations do not have blessings attached to it, but that which is done in the secret is greater than any other. According to him this is in line with the current jubilee year of mercy in which action such as this, is appealing in the sight of God and which posses the tendency to attract mercy and blessings of God.

He enjoined Christians to research and found out pressings needs of areas devoid of modernization and amenities necessary for a meaningful existence and try as much as possible to put smiles on the face of people especially the less privileged in our society.
