Dividends Of Democracy: Hon Aniunoh Kicks Off Construction Of A 3 Classroom Block At Fegge

In a more committed effort to fulfill his campaign promises, the House Member representing Onitsha South I constituency in the Anambra state house of Assembly Hon Patrick Aniunoh (JP) penultimate Tuesday made public his decision to construct an ultra modern 3 class rooms block at Urban Girls Secondary School Fegge Onitsha.

            Hon Aniunoh made this disclosure during the flag off of 2016 Holiday classes he is sponsoring at Fegge.

            The class room project he said falls under the Sustainable Development Goal of Anambra state.

            Addressing the students shortly after the flag off, the house member stated that nothing can be compared to education, pointing out that without education, he would not have been privileged to represent his constituency. “I am sponsoring the holiday classes because I don’t’ want to hand over to illiterates.  In order to realize this dreams, I had to hire good and sound teachers who are currently tutoring you. The holiday classes is free since I have already provided all the materials and the teachers would be paid by me. At the end of the holiday classes, you will write exams that will produce the best students who will bag my scholarship award to study free in their various schools”.

            Hon Aniunoh also recalled that as at present, 11 students who performed very well during the 2015 Holiday Classes are studying under his scholarship scheme. He urged the students to take the Holiday lessons serious and study hard so that they will excel.

            The Principal of Urban Girls Lady Franca Ego Obi who spoke at the gathering eulogized the house member for his usual magnanimity, urging the students to utilize the great opportunity. The co-coordinator of the program Mrs Anthonia Ngozi Okonkwo in her contribution said the teacher are well prepared and are currently giving the students the best. The APGA chairman for Onitsha south LGA Hon Ikechukwu Ezeoba eulogizing the house member said that before now the  constituency was lacking greatly in education but with Hon Aniunoh on board the situation has changed.  “Tell your parents what Hon Aniunoh is doing for you and encourage them to vote him in for second term,” he added. Also the former APGA chairman for Onitsha south Hon Sylvester Ezeokenwa  in a speech extolled the legislator positing that he is setting the pace.
