According to him, anybody who is attending Masses at Church of Assumption Umuoji has the opportunity to make heaven since the paintings and pictures that inspire one to grow spiritually are in the said Church.

“I am happy to observe that every part of the interior of this Church has paintings and pictures that remind us the mission of Christ. Without mincing words, this Church is beautiful.”

The Prelate further commended the principal sponsors of the project and others who contributed to the successful completion of the Church project praying God to rain His blessings on them.

Dedication he explained is the total handover of Church building to God, pointing out that once the Church is dedicated, it becomes the house of God. In other words, after the dedication, no one has right to hold meetings, functions or any other thing that is capable of desecrating the Church. The dedication Mass he said attracts plenary indulgence to faithful present at the Mass.
